QUESTIONS?
Does this game actually emit an electric shock?
No. The Screamer: Seat of Terror uses high-frequency vibration in its metal handles to create an intense pins-and-needles sensation, which can feel like an electric shock to unsuspecting players. It does not deliver an electric shock to the player.
How do you play?
Choose your voltage level, take hold of both metal handles and hold on as the game begins. Let go and you lose. The voltage setting controls the game’s intensity; the sensation comes from vibration.
Can it be set to free play?
Yes. The chair can be set to free play for your guests, or it can be coin operated. Tell us how you would like to use it when you enquire.
What events is the shock chair suitable for?

Where in the UK can I hire it?
We are based in Staffordshire and the electric chair game can be hired throughout the UK. We regularly take it to events in Manchester and Birmingham, but it can be transported anywhere in the UK. Longer journeys may come with slightly higher transport costs, which we will confirm with your quote.
Are there age, health or access restrictions?
The game uses vibration rather than electric shocks, but the sensation can still be startling. We recommend avoiding it if you have a health condition that could be affected by vibration, sudden sensations or flashing lights. The game uses strobe lighting and can optionally emit smoke. If you are unsure whether it is suitable for you, please seek advice before playing. Contact us before booking to discuss age suitability.
The chair is oversized, made from hardwood and very heavy. The space where it will be placed must be accessible without stairs or steep ramps. The chair will not fit through a standard UK doorway, so a larger entrance is always required. Please check the entrance and full delivery route with us before booking.
How much does the electric chair game cost to hire?
Hire starts at £250. The price depends on how long you need the chair and the distance from our base in Staffordshire, so we confirm pricing for each individual event. Send us your date, venue and hire duration for a quote.
